Welcome!

Hi! I'm Amy with GPL, and I will be your Learning Circle facilitator.

Are you interested in learning ASL but are unsure as to where you should start? This Learning Circle might be exactly what you're looking for! I will assist you with accessing a free online resource through SignSchool.com that teaches you basic American Sign Language with easy-to-use modules that you can complete at your own pace.

It is highly recommended that you attend all four meetings!

This Learning Circle is intended for adults but supervised children are welcome.

Course materials we'll use

SignSchool.com teaches basic signs and hand parameters in American Sign Language (ASL). We will practice visual comprehension, signing, and basic expressive and receptive skills.
