Hello there! I am originally from South Korea and moved to San Francisco, CA in 2011. In 2018, I relocated to Pittsburgh, PA to pursue my Master's degree at Carnegie Mellon University. It was during this time that I began volunteering to teach Korean classes. In my spare time, I enjoy practicing yoga, bouldering, and blogging (https://blog.naver.com/data-scientist-luna).

Course materials we'll use
In this intermediate-level class, we will use the textbook published by the Korean government for foreigners who learn Korean as a secondary language.
To get the most out of the class, it is recommended that you have a basic understanding of how to read and write Korean characters, known as 'Hangul'. We assume you can make a basic sentence as well. Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to expand your vocabulary and gain a deeper understanding of how to effectively organize complex sentence structures.
We recommend utilizing these resources if you are learning Hangul for the first time.
