Welcome!
The goal of this learning circle is to learn and advance our capabilities in French language, culture and build French conversation skills at the beginner to intermediate (A2-B2 CEFR) level within a facilitated 10-week learning circle environment that meets in person weekly at Carnegie Library Pittsburgh, Main Campus (Oakland).
Our sessions are 90-minues in duration and include conversation, facilitated activities and shared learning/insights around integrated themes and topics. Between sessions, participants are encouraged to practice vocabulary and journal in specific topic areas.
Course materials we'll use
Participants will use a variety of materials and we will share favorites with each other. We will include open source and free publicly available content including Mango which is available to participants with a Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh library card, and accessible through an Ap or through the CLP website under language learning resources.
