CLP Korean Class - Beginner Level
A learning circle
Hi, my name is Soyong Shin and I am voluntary tutor for Korean Class held at Canegie Library of Pittsburgh, main branch!
Hello there! I am originally from South Korea and moved to San Francisco, CA in 2011. In 2018, I relocated to Pittsburgh, PA to pursue my Master's degree at Carnegie Mellon University. It was during this time that I began volunteering to teach Korean classes. In my spare time, I enjoy practicing yoga, bouldering, and blogging (https://blog.naver.com/data-scientist-luna).
This is CLP Korean Class, Intermediate Level. We are happy to have you all in our learning circle! Please do not hesitate to ask any questions about the learning circle via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Course materials we'll use
In this beginner-level class, we will use the textbook published by the Korean government for foreigners who learn Korean as a secondary language.
We will start from write/reading Korean characters, 'Hangul', and learn how to organize sentence structures.
